Mary: Can you tell us what you think a good citizen is, or what a good citizen does?
Margeurite: It's really difficult to define. I like to think that I'm not British I'm European and that I'm ... I understand other people, I understand people from different countries, I'm tolerant of them, I'm prepared to help and do the best I can so that people around me get what they can out of life, and that I also benefit from it as well.
Mary: So, that's a really interesting thing that you say that really you see yourself as a European citizen as opposed to a British citizen.
Margeurite: Yes.
Mary: And you'd also say that a lot of that sense of identity is about your attitudes and how you relate.
Margeurite: And I think that comes from having a multicultural environment, because the more people that you're exposed to the more I think you can be tolerant of others. And I think that really helps. I mean I know that in my job because I've met so many people from so many different places, that it makes me much more tolerant of new people, much more understanding.
Mary: So a big thing then that you would say is that idea of tolerance.
Margeurite: Yes.
Mary: Okay, thank you.
